How to Connect to an iOS device with MixerFace
Learn how to connect MixerFace or MicPort to an iOS device with a lightning input; such as many iPhones + iPads.
Ingredients:
- MixerFace (or MicPort Pro)
- iPhone (or iPad)
- MixerFace USB cable
- Apple Lightning to USB 3 Adapter
- Headphones
- Microphone
- Microphone cable
Step 1
Grab your MixerFace and turn it on (press in power button for a couple seconds).
Now connect the included USB cable into the USB slot on the left side of the unit’s front panel.
Step 2
Connect the other side of the included USB cable to the Apple Lightning to USB 3 Adapter.
Next, connect the adapter to the iPhone.
Step 3
You will want to use a pair of headphones for monitoring your recording signal and level.
In this example, I am using our new Cerene dB headphones — plug them into the headphone jack located on the front panel of the unit.
