New Products At NAMM 2019
CEntrance is having a great start to 2019. We are very very excited about our recent progress.
We moved to a new office. We redesigned our website. We released three new products. We have returned to our roots in Pro Audio and are going to the NAMM show with several exciting announcements. All in all, many things to be proud of!
This new blog is where we will share with you about new products and company news. We will have plenty to share soon — 2019 promises to be exciting!
The NAMM show is happening this weekend in Anaheim and we are gearing up for a busy four days. On display in the CEntrance Booth 8100 will be 3 new products: MixerFace R4B with mics, MicPort Pro 2 and MC-50 Headphones. CEntrance is proud to announce its first headphone product — a result of much research, tuning and adjustment to make sure the headphones sound good both for making music and for listening to music. Please stop by our booth to check them out. We are sure you will be delighted. Meantime, let’s look at the the new recording new products in more detail:
MixerFace R4 turns a smartphone into a portable DAW, ideal for capturing musical ideas, interviews, or live events at a remote location. Invaluable for podcasting, video blogging, newsgathering, live streaming, songwriting, and other mobile recording uses, the passport-sized mobile recording interface makes it easy to record professional-quality audio anywhere. An internal, long-lasting rechargeable battery sets the CEntrance product apart from other portable audio interfaces and makes it the ideal companion for the road. MixerFace R4R, released last year adds a built-in micro-SD car recorder, which works in parallel with the phone and allows to record simultaneously to the phone and to the SD card. At the NAMM show, we will launch MixerFace R4B, the model that adds a pair of precision-matched XY Stereo mics that turn the unit into a stand-alone recorder, ideal for recording music, voice or location sound.
MicPort Pro 2 is a follow up to the award-winning, and hugely popular, MicPort Pro. The new version of the mobile recording interface incorporates all of the sonic improvements developed for MixerFace, and like MixerFace, comes with a built-in rechargeable battery. MicPort Pro 2 uses our new, critically acclaimed Jasmine™ Mic Preamp that features 20dB more gain and less noise than the original. Its analog-to-digital converters operate at 24-bit/192kHz and feature broadcast-ready performance for recording or streaming with the phone. MicPort Pro 2 is designed for artists on the move. It features a single, high-quality input and a stereo headphone/line output. Smaller than a studio microphone, the interface is lightweight and was designed with frequent travelers in mind.
Both products will be handy for voiceover actors, podcasters and broadcasters, but also for touring musicians, who need to record overdubs in studio quality, while being away from the studio. The built-in high-quality mic preamps, featuring a Neutrik Combo jack and true 48V phantom power, lets users choose their favorite microphones. The Hi-Z feature allows directly plugging in electric guitars and basses, making MixerFace R4 and MicPort Pro 2 ideal practice tools, idea pads, or streaming interfaces for the phone.
See you at NAMM and if you cannot make it, we will post a report here and our social media pages very soon.
