Same here. No ASIO driver. Checked Waves GTR3 and Adobe Audition 3. I have Cubase 4, but haven't installed it yet on this machine.

I'm just wondering, if this doesn't load the ASIO driver, what exactly took so long making this driver? This is the same thing the previous driver did. Did you guys even test this, or are we missing something that's not documented in the Read Me?

I'm about ready to just sell this thing. It's been over two months since I started this thread.

I would love to buy a MicPort Pro and a DACport, but honestly, I can't see that happening with this kind of support.

Please do explain.

The ASIO interface would work only with those applications that are true 64-bit native ASIO applciations. The 64-bit version of the driver will not work with those applcations that are running the 32-bit ASIO engine on the 64-bit CPU. That could be the issue...

Are you going to work on a 32-bit ASIO interface that runs in 64-bit Windows? I'm sure it is possible. I have devices from Focusrite and Echo Audio that show up in both 32-bit and 64-bit applications under Windows 7 64-bit.

Ok, so we did a little more investigation into the issue. Developing a 32-bit interface for 64-bit apps is altogether a different project. Best advice for now is this: If you are using a 32-bit machine, use the 32-bit audio app (naturally). If you are using a 64-bit machine, use a 64-bit version of the audio app. In both cases UD 6.1 will work well. If you are using a 32-bit app on a 64-bit machine, that requires 32->64 bit conversion, something that we don't currently support. Adding this conversion to the UD is not currently on the roadmap, so my recommendation for now is to get the 64-bit version of the app. If we decide to add this conversion in the future, we will make a separate announcement. Let me know by pm if you have any questions.

Hey Michael,

Any updates on the ASIO driver showing up in 32-bit programs on 64-bit Windows 7?

I got my AxePort Pro today, and what do you know - it doesn't work in Tracktion 2 (32-bit) on my 64-bit install of Windows 7. Sucks! Wish I'd seen this thread earlier. I could roll back to 32-bit, but then I wouldn't be able to utilize all my RAM. Looks like I'll be returning this thing on Monday. Shame too, because the performance in 64-bit Reaper (which I'd prefer not to use) is great, sound quality is awesome, and this thing looks to be built like a tank. Even worse is that the three other audio interfaces that I own will all function perfectly in my current configuration, even my crappy $50 M-Audio JamLab. So why would CEntrance not include this feature? I will re-buy the unit when you guys fix this.

Hi ,

Thanks for your feedback. We are on the verge of releasing the updated version of UD. It now includes the feature of 32->64 bit conversion. If you can wait a few more days when we are finished testing, then you should be good to go. Cool?

Wish I'd seen this thread earlier.

We mentioned adding this feature, due to popular demand, in this thread. Thanks for helping update this thread.
